Alina Sharipova (Juryprijs)

Alina weet wat ze wil. Ze wil alles tegelijk. En het liefst nu. Ze wil met anderen zijn, maar zichzelf blijven. Ze wil zacht zijn en toch voor zichzelf opkomen. Ze wil spelen én confronteren, ze wil troosten, getroost worden én boos zijn. Ze wil leven, en doet dat met een heel eigen karakter. Een persoonlijke voorstelling over complexe onderwerpen van een bekoorlijke, genadeloze verteller.

Meeuw Roovers (Publieksprijs)

Meeuw werd geboren, kreeg een gekke voornaam en dat was nog maar het begin. Nu, op zijn 33e vraagt hij zich af: ‘Wat doe ik hier? Moet ik hier weg? En wie gaan er dan mee? Terwijl iedereen om hem heen baby’s maakt, lijkt Meeuw juist mensen kwijt te raken: familie, liefdes en soms zelfs het publiek. Toch doet hij een dappere poging om met humor een verbinding te leggen.

Ongewoon & rebels. Zo voelt Joël zich. En als je uit Rotterdam-West komt, dan ben je dat ook – ja toch? Maar volgens Joël zijn we allemaal anders en is iedereen ongewoon. Hoe anders is Joël dan? Het is tijd om te verbinden, met de rest. Om elkaar eindelijk te begrijpen. Maar ja, dat wederzijdse begrip, is dat nou wel nodig?
